NEW MINISTRY. I would like a team of volunteers to make announcements before and after our Vigil and 9.30am Masses. Such volunteers would announce the them of the Mass, and special intentions and then the number of the first hymn At the end of the Mass the same person would give out any Parish notices, just before the Blessing. Anyone willing to join this group should give his or her name to me (Canon Jerry) Young parishioners who have been confirmed are most welcome to participate in this new ministry.

Prince Caspian
Looking for something to do with the children this summer? Why not take them along to see this summer's children's blockbuster 'Prince Caspian', the sequel to C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.' For children, the Namia
books and films are simply great action stories packed with battles, magic and talking animals. As adults, we can see that the stories are bursting with Christian allegories. Take the children along and see how many symbols, hidden clues and stories within stories you can find. For those who want to dig deeper, read 'Believing in Namia - A Kids Guide to Unlocking the Secret Symbols of Faith in C.S. Lewis' by Natalie Gillespie.
